Dashboard HQ is finally back up and running. Here's what our web host has to say:

"Due to a critical hard disk array failure on your web server (GOLIATH), emergency maintenance was started on or about 4pm EST yesterday (July 10).

The integrity of your website application data was maintained; however, there were server configurations that needed to be rebuilt on a per website basis. Most server configurations were rebuilt and online by 12AM. We have been in the process of recovering some additional configurations issues as they arose throughout the morning.

All services have been restored on your server.

[...] We thank you for your patience as we worked as quickly as possible to resolve this issue."

I wish they would have mentioned what was happening during the outage instead of waiting until afterwards to tell me they fixed it. Dashboard HQ was down for over 11 hours.

We will be moving Dashboard HQ to Media Temple as soon as they are able to upgrade my server over there to PHP 5, which should happen in the next couple of weeks or so. In the meantime, we'll just have to cross our fingers.

Dashboard HQ is having some issues at the moment. We're working with our web host to resolve the problem, so hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

I'm very happy to report that Dashboard HQ is live!

After having some serious wb host issues last night, Kris managed to launch the site at about 1am, and everything seems to be in good shape, so sign up, tell your friends, and have fun with Dashboard HQ!

For those of you (beta testers) that have run into issues deleting bookmarks, you'll be happy to know this is now fixed. If you continue to have problems, please let us know via the forums.

We believe we've also finally ironed out the last drag-and-drop bug, so this should be working as expected as well.

Sometime in the next couple of weeks, we'll be moving Dashboard HQ over to Media Temple hosting. Since moving my site there (www.rhjr.net), I've been a very happy customer, and I'm sure Dashboard HQ will be in good hands.

Also, Dashboard HQ is now feature-complete and quite stable, so as soon as we can get a homepage constructed, we'll be going live! We've created and tested the My Account page, which you can use to change your password, email address, etc, and that was the last piece we needed to solidify the release. It will be available once we go live.

For those of you that have been waiting for Dashboard HQ, it's time to finally get moving. I'm happy to announce we are in need of a few dedicated beta testers. We'll be starting very small, with just a few people, but in a few days, we'll put up an open invite on the homepage for more beta testers.
